“ My husband and I went to Callas this weekend recommended by a friend. Definitely try to set a reservation! they are busy for a reason . Food was amazing! vegetarian options, wonderful drink menu, and honestly decent prices for the size on their shareables part of the menu. Everything tasted wonderful and the ingredients tasted worth the money youd spend. Our waitress was Callie and she was so sweet. Gave us time to eat and enjoy everything while also checking up on us at decent times. She was so bright and helpful through our whole meal. We noticed the waiter on the table next to us, Christiano. He was just as bright and helpful to his table. Only off point my husband and i noticed was some of the other waitresses putting our drinks and some appetizers at other tables and leaving before we could say they were ours. Two of the waitresses were unwelcoming and made somewhat rude comments about the restaurant itself. I was very thankful we had Callie and got to witness Christiano. Nonetheless, the food and most of our service was wonderful! will go again. ”
“ I was fortunate enough to find this amazing restaurant while visiting the Port of Lake Charles for work. As soon as I sat at the bar I was immediately greeted by Brandon. He was extremely knowledgeable with all their signature drinks and menu items, making excellent recommendations. I decided on the mushroom truffle pasta and added shrimp and lobster knuckles to it. This was by far one of the best pasta dishes Ive ever eaten. While dining Brandon was busy greeting other guests and making recommendations of special cocktails with lots of interaction with his guests. He is a true mixologist who is highly skilled at his craft, and an asset to this restaurant. I decided on the creme caramel for dessert and it did not disappoint, it was phenomenal. Next time youre in town dont hesitate try this phenomenal spot, Brandon will make sure you thoroughly enjoy your experience at his bar. ”
“ We ordered the shrimp and grits and the truffles and mushrooms pasta with scallops. The shrimp and grits were An amazing taste experience. So many flavors and textures as well as aroma. When the entre was brought out the aroma surrounded the table. Every bite was the same as the first. The scallops were prepared perfectly tender and the flavors of the pasta with truffles were delicious. ”
“ Went on a Wednesday for dinner at about 630pm. First time going and we really enjoyed it! Location away from the primary area of LC. Next to the Bekery. A really nice neighborhood with apartments and small businesses. Parking onsite is free but limited with most parking available on the Roadside or behind the Bekery. Atmosphere very clean, modern and airy. Mostly table seating indoor, outside balcony, and bar seating available. The restaurant is actually on the second floor when you walk in, walk straight to the back turn right theres an elevator there. They dimmed the lights as the sun set. Good lighting overhead and table top. Attire is mostly business casual. A good place for socializing, date or special occasion. Not really for kids. Service Very friendly. They seemed short staffed but handled it well. Kept refills going and boxed up leftovers. Food absolutely delicious. We couldnt decide what we liked most it was all spot on! We ordered the loaded fries appetizer, hanger steak with mac cheese, and the lamb. All of it was seasoned very well, cooked to request, and tasted fresh. This place definitely feels passionate about their food! Menu appetizers included fries, bread, Deviled eggs, shrimp, chips, bone marrow tartare, blue crab Benedict, fried oysters, etc. which ranged 7.5035. Salads were about 13.5019. Burgers, chickenpork sandwich 17. Entrees of lamb, steak, mushroom truffle pasta, short ribs, fish, quail, shrimp grits ranging 2463. Sides included asparagus, mac cheese, Brussel sprouts, veggies ranging 9.5011.50. The most expensive entree was a 14oz ribeye for 63 cheapest was 1 quail or the shrimp grits for 24. Price I would assume the average person spends 5060 per person here if buying an entree side drink. Overall, a really refreshing, great tasting dining experience. I would definitely rank this as one of the best restaurants in LC. ”
“ As always the atmosphere is exceptional!! The food was amazing and drinks even better! The environment is business casual but laid back and relaxing. I highly recommend checking it out for some upscale dining. The steak and quail were cooked to perfection!! ”

“ I love restaurant calla. Ive eaten here for dinner on more than one occasion and have had nothing but good service and great food. I have only ever eaten out on their balcony where there is less noise because calla is usually a busy restaurant. They changed up the menu to keep things fresh, and Ive never gotten a meal I wasnt satisfied with. I fully intend to try calls brunch soon. ”
“ A great dining experience option in Lake Charles, we enjoyed all the dishes and tried as much as we could on the menu by dining 2 days in a row some of the dishes are on the sweet side including the Brussels sprouts. The tiramisu was excellent. ”
